Neon White
More people should play this game. The story is fine, but the main selling point is the slick and addictive gameplay. The problem is stopping - you'll end up saying the phrase "just one more turn" quite often.
The Sims (2000)
So much of my youth was spent playing the PS2 port of The Sims. Maybe it's just nostalgia keeping me invested, but this is still a game I come back to from time to time and it's always a blast.
Sleeping Dogs
There is a lot to enjoy about Sleeping Dogs, from the great Hong Kong setting, to smoothe driving mechanics, and especially melee combat. Pulling of ccombos is incredibly satisfying, and nearby NPCs will react to devastating moves.
The DLC didn't really add much, but the main plot is intriguing and the base game is enjoyable in itself. It's just a shame that we will likely never see a sequel.
Hitman (2016)
One of those games that you keep coming back to, it's endlessly replayable and creative.
Balatro
After giving Balatro a go it's firmly cemented itself as one of my favorite games! Something about it clicked immediately, the soundtrack is wonderful to listen to and the gameplay in general is extremely satisfying. Players learn something from every run, whether it's successful or a complete bust. Absolutely a must-play game!
