As a player who bought the dream light valley game when it first came out and was still giving you the founder's package I don't recall getting any prompts for any quest involving a rift in time until I purchased it. And as angelwingsyt mentioned rift in time is like part two of dream light valley and I don't think buying part 3 without part two makes any sense just saying.
