My Hero Academia: Horikoshi Confirms Deku Failed To Accomplish A Major Goal At The End
The author ruined their own story. I have many grievances with the end especially with how deku was handled but I'm not even going to voice that here. None of the issues of the hero society were addressed. I feel like the whole time watching this show all of the themes that were presented that we're intriguing were discarded. All mights society was the problem. It was his world that led to the league of villains existence. It was the celebrity that nature of being a hero that was a problem. But in the end all of that still remains?
I don't think I would have had as much an issue with deku losing all for one if it changed the world. But it didn't. The messages and themes that were touched on throughout the series were completely ignored in the end and it just became about the hero beating the villain. Even though throughout the story The themes make you question what is a villain? What is a hero? Can anybody be a hero? Should anybody be a hero? Set the quirk that makes you a hero or is it the fact that your body moved without thinking? Is being a hero a job? These are just some of the themes there were a whole lot more that were touched on and never ever addressed at the end.
So the whole things just disappointing.
