Why would we expect less from a man who tweeted agreement with Replacement Theory, hangs out with European far right parties (parties that no other political parties in Europe will have anything to do with because they're that objectionable), and just sieg heil'd our incoming president like he was the Führer? Don't forget that when he took over Twitter he claimed no more censorship but what he meant was no more censorship of what he disagrees with as he's seen fit to censor plenty of Twitter posts since but the racists flourish on his network.

A good, honest guy he is not.

I don't find this interview encouraging as I'm not a fan of inevitable mid game crisis' that trigger forced civilization flips. I get what they're trying to simulate but the fact that it sounds like there is absolutely nothing the player can do to stop a crisis and civ change rubs me the wrong way. It feels like it's removing player agency. What if I don't want my civ to collapse and have a new one take it's place?

Don't get me wrong this is just one detail of a very large game and I might even like this feature when I actually play the game. Never the less I don't find this encouraging.
