See AllHelldivers 2 on Xbox May Actually Turn Out to Be a Trojan's Horse From PlayStation
I personally dont think it'll change much cause to entice people to buy a PlayStation for exclusives of theirs, we are still talking a hefty price just to switch consoles from buying sony's and then buying the game if not the ps plus thats still more money that'd be dropped on top of buying the game again. Now, im an xbox player myself as well as own a pc, stean deck, and quest 3 but my sister on the other hand has a ps5 herself. I've played her ps5, i will not make the switch as i would only switch to pc from xbox if anything, dont get me wrong, ps had solid games that are exclusives, rather nice graphics, and solid performance, but looking at the fact its exclusives are tightly protected is not worth buying a new console to me. I will stick to my pc and xbox cause the games i grew up on with xbox have kept me more interested than the ps1 and 2 games i played when younger, not because they are better but simply they felt more enjoyable in my own opinion. Aside from that, i dont want to deal with the controversial chat monitoring ps does that you cant even talk with friends and joke around without getting chat banned as a cousin of mine experienced. In short to give a brief explanation to my long winded argument here, while ps is using a good strategy with exclusives, they dont offer as much draw as just having games be for every platform to enjoy as the former option costs too much for an average gamer with a 9 to 5 to just make that kinda switch for a single game even if just helldivers. A pc would be a more viable switch than PlayStation as many other things besides the normal playstation or xbox content is available and dont require subscriptions like most consoles have you needing to play online.
