Nuanced response, I dig it and agree - cheap and effective removal options (ideally in unorthodox colors for the typing) could certainly help bring things in line.

I'm tinkering with a Naya tokens deck and running both Banishing Light and Dusk Rose Reliquary, along with a couple Insidious Fungus. Hoping that'll give me a decent enough spectrum of removal while I ramp.

I'd prefer a remaster that offers polished new visuals in the style of the original, some QoL adjustments to the battle system (spamming for Trance sucked) and maybe a polish pass for the gear/skills system.
