She had the best character development in the entire series. I thought she'd just be another waste of a soon to be dead character. Her development was a huge surprise as she turned out to have a lot of significance.

Unfortunately she regressed into one of the most background characters. Her pregnancy didn't even make sense. She seemed more dead then Levi throughout the final arc, unusual for her character, yet idiots defend this by saying it was out of love. From a strategic point, it made no sense either. Some even interpret that it was to prevent Zeke from getting eaten before his plan could be carried out. This makes no sense either, Zeke had already entrusted the plan to Eren because only Eren can control the founding titan. This means that even if Historia becomes the beast titan, Eren can still carry out their supposed plan. In fact, it would have been much more efficient. Eren only betrayed Zeke at the point where there should have been no return. Yet this is retconned because somehow Zeke manages to be the one in control. Not to mention Mikasa shouldn't have even been affected by paths, yet she did.
