Hey! This seems really strange and likely a bug if the developers have said same sex marraiges could have children. The game should automatically trigger the conversation as soon as you wake up 5 days after getting married. Unfortunately, I chose the male MC and married Ulalaka, so I can't speak from first hand experience on this. Have you got an old save you could reload and see if it is a bug?
