There are plenty of ways to make your character so overpowered that the level scaling is a non-issue. Also the game pass PC version of the game can be modded too. Just right click the game in PC game pass and go to manage, then click the files tab, and click browse. That will open the game files folder where you can install the mods.
This here once again highlights the flaw of GGG making the choice to make ascendancy a permanent thing. Introduce a rare orb that can allow changing ascendancies or make us run the trails again to switch ascendancy. It would solve problems like this.
