There's just no way it's greed. It happened to blizzard too. It's like an obsession with mediocrity. There are plenty of ways to make money and to make content which is going to be vastly more profitable but the games mostly suck, they promote graphics over substance, they focus on superficial balance updates instead of, for runescape, fundamentally reworking some issues. I do not get the mindset but wherever greed comes in this is too childish and neurotic to carry into being a ceo. Whatever is happening is ridiculous and downstream of that is extraordinarily childish and greedy behaviors. Blizzard spent half of development on the game then half of it getting psychologists to figure out how much they can trick out of children, mentally handicapped people and young adults with dopamine regulation issues. These people aren't becoming millionaires so idk what's happening. I'm just ready for it to finish off all these companies that are a far cry from their predecessors and move on. The sooner these socially underdeveloped machiavellian personality types get the boot the better.
