The articles clearly talking about HDMI on the Xbox series X having the higher bandwidth,which helps the series X/S do LFC VRR which can go down to 30hz while PS5 is 48hz,so a lower fps between 53+ you really can't tell the drop to fps, however anything under that you start to feel that lower fps in the controls. Also the higher bandwidth HDMI on X/S can handle colors better in those 120fps modes. Sony just never got on the VRR train till well after the PS5 released.
