Nathan have you tried Lords of the Fallen? That one is more Elden Ring like to me than what Lies of P is. Hell is Us was pretty decent but I felt it lacked boss fights. Kind of changed the structure of souls like but still felt like one.

I have over 1000 hours clocked on Souls Like games. That should explain itself 😅 I'm also 34, married, two kids, full time job. Let's just say I don't sleep much haha over 500 of those are shared between Elden Ring and Nightreign

WuChang needs to start making these lists. Amazing game and a fresh take. The combat has been the most fluid in my opinion. And I currently have 28 souls like games and have beaten 9 of them.

Strongly disagree with that. Fundamentally, is still a Souls Like. It's the exact same as every single game listed here.

WuChang: Fallen Feathers should really make this list. Honestly, I've played extensive Souls Like games and that one is just under Elden Ring for me. I do enjoy the combat better in WuChang though. But that's simply due to the dodge mechanic. Definitely need to pick up FF though. As a huge fan of the franchise too, I know I would absolutely love it.
