Honestly, I haven't played Sims 4 in years, much less been paying for dlc. I love Lord of the Rings, and I've been excited since Tales of the Shire was first announced. It's a no trainer for me. They likely made that dlc because they saw how excited people were for Tales of the Shire. They did the same thing when new Star Wars movies started appearing years ago.
