What do you mean real main character? Don't be silly, the show is called Boruto, not Naruto, and guess what, there's a reason is not called Naruto, is because Naruto isn't the main character in this show, if you want Naruto as the main maybe rewatch Naruto

yaw kwame exactly, but people aren't reading the manga properly or just watched the anime, or they just have a hard time to accept because they've grown up with Naruto, I did grow up with Naruto too so it sucks having to admit and face it, but Boruto would easily win Naruto and Sasuke combined in a fight. Also I don't think Naruto has forgotten I just think he's gotten laid back due to his immerse chakra from Kurama, which he doesn't have anymore... So he's currently not used to fight without it as in Pain arc. I think he'd just need to battle more so often but even so the new gen would still superpass him.

Uzumaki I love Naruto and will forever time be one of my favorite protagonists in shounen, so I hate having to admit it, but at this point for anyone that reads Boruto manga, we have to be realistic, and drop the blinded nostalgia. Boruto is just too OP at the moment, like I said Naruto has experience and even better stamina, but Boruto is way stronger and much smarter at the moment for Naruto to handle all alone without Kurama... And even sage mode isn't enough to handle Boruto at the current power scaling. Even without Karma he'd most likely be able to win. Boruto himself is currently an Otsutsuki and all has the knowledge transfered to his fighting.

Another reasoning. Boruto destroyed Code, Code is stronger than Jigen, Jigen was stronger than Sasuke and Naruto combined, the math isn't that hard...

I know is hard to accept.
