Joe I agree with some aspects of your frustration. I'm mega into PvP, but I made more friends on Steam in ARC Raiders than in any other game. The PvP aspect mixed in with PvE makes this game so engaging, and extractions so blood-pumping. I wouldn't have it any other way, but having other players be friendly, essentially eliminating the Raider going rogue idea, is definitely something I can get behind. Which is why Aggression-Based Matchmaking is so important imo.

If you deploy to a match without an Augment, you'll get one safe pocket. It's better compared to free loadout cuz you'll atleast get one safepocket to stash a blueprint in and surrender immediately.

The thing is, developers have not confirmed, but players have tested and proven that the game uses behaviour-based matchmaking. So if you're PvE'ing most of the time, you won't be matched up with aggressive PvP players and vice versa. However, there are some exceptions, but the PvE build has been my go-to for PvP, and holds its ground pretty well.

There's a possibility I might have missed it, but it wasn't present on the map on all zoom levels when I checked it before writing up this guide. They may have shadow added it post-update.
