Yes, Vogel did say they made that apart of the code to give him some "wiggle room". This would be a perfect example of that. I do hope they retcon Logan somehow

Yes!! His head never actually turned in a 180 either, which is a good sign. Dexter very well could've just dine what he did to Doakes and many others to knock em out, and thats all that happened and just sprained Logans neck.

We do see a body bag in the very last scene, but he could have told them to take him out in the bag in case dexter was watching so that he would assume Logan's dead.

I hope they make it to where Logan survived
