One of my most anticipated games of the year on PSVR2 (on PS5). I love being in the Alien world (have dabbled with isolation back on PCVR some years ago and even 'enjoyed' colonial marines while others hated it - my first alien game being Alien Trilogy back on PS1 in the 90s which was amazing at the time) and as VR is my main way to play anything these days, this should be awesome.

I'm just hoping they've taken full advantage of PSVR2's extras like HDR and head haptics (I'm sure adaptative triggers were a given), and moreso than they enhance it for PS5 PRO which many PSVR2 users are getting/interested in for how it can push VR better.

12/3 was the launch date of PS1 in Japan.

That said, the whole anniversary thing is stupid, it looks worse in out-dated (even for the 90s; and yes I had a PS1 bought on launch day back then) grey and you pay more (esp to scalpers). Regular Pro is more than fine and doesn't reek of desperate man child-itis.

This. I ordered the standard pro. Have no idea why kind of nostalgia addled children want to pay even more stupid prices just to have it in a colour that already looked outdated and cheap even in the 90s (yes I had PS1 and bought it on launch day back then). It doesn't look too bad as an object in itself, out of context, but once you put it in any modern room it's going to look hideous and old-fashioned.
