I really hope they keep the "stop here or keep reading" end intact. I love it, every single word, and I can't wait to see the GA lose their minds about it even more so than "constant readers" did. Im not sure what everyone thought would happen, poor expectation having sods.

Yea, I agree that's a weird reason to hold off. The only reason I'm holding off is what I do for every console is to have a years worth of games catalogue behind them. I'm a patient man. Upgraded games I've already played and Mario Kart aren't a big enough draw day 1. It's not like it'll cost more next year, hell, I can even probably get a refurbished one at a discount with extras next spring.

@Sandip Kishan Anbuselvan, believe me I'm aware a certain group of fans who are loud on X, and let's face it they belong there, are entitled toxic babies and that is your take away is people like that won and for what. That is not what happened or what your take away should be. Studio execs used Snyder's daughters death to gut his movie because they got scared of criticism for BvS. That is reprehensible everyone involved should have been fired for the immorality of it. I cannot stand the "cultists" but the Snyder cut movement raised a ton of money for suicide prevention, something I have lost people to as well. For the money it raised for that organization alone it was worth it. Are you so cynical that you missed that info on your research and just lump Snyder and every Snyder fan in with the toxic "cult" sect? Who btw only care about his DC movies and nothing else he's done. Apparently Snyder himself can't stand the cultists either because it was his idea to cook them with that photo he took with gun. They probably didn't even realize that was what he was doing. If you could look past the entitled "X" babies you would see why this wasn't a waste of time by shining a light on studio misdeeds and providing an organization with a lot more extra funding than they would otherwise have that could possibly save someone you care about from the ultimate form of self harm. Also it was Casey Bloys who got the Snyder Cut out because he saw the potential to drive subscribers to MAX if not for him nothing would have ever happened with it. So blame him if you're unhappy. And well did it live up to the hype? It was better than the one the studio gave us. That was the only expectation that should have been had. Anything beyond that is your own fault if it didn't live up to your expectations. It did not affect you financially as your money did not find it WB and HBO MAX did, nor did it affect your day to day. Just as the "cultists" should let it go by now, so should everyone else.

Why would you over stuff the first season with all that back story better suited to later season. Just focus on Roland, Jake, Flagg, Dessa/O'dessa/Susannah, and Eddie. Literally just do the first two books.

AMC managed to do adaptations with Anne Rice novels that are better than the two movies they made and beyond belief actually better than the books so far, In conjunction with the author while she was still alive and her estate after she passed. The author is involved with this project so this is probably a wait and see situation. But I'm sure everyone who gets all bent out of shape about something that doesn't really effect their day to day they will just pretend they never saw that producer credit when the credits roll.

And Veruca Salt wanted. Turns out she was a bad egg. Also, You realize the author has a say so in all these decisions. So when you see that credit beyond "based on the works of" you know who to be mad at.

I wish the show would have ended like that before it went far far past its prime. It's a decent twilight zone style ending. But whatever, all the spinoffs are still appointment viewing for women in their 50's and 60's. Good for them.

They could definitely ease Egghead into live action with an appearance of Alexander voicing him in an animated project, he is already a Harley Quinn alum and they could easily work an Egghead cameo into Creature Commandos. I think it's a great idea. I'm pretty sick of grounded Batman anyways. The 60's show is still fun but we definitely don't need a full lean into that. The Burton films were a good balance of dark and goofy. Then Shoemaker lost that balance, though I think that's more the studios fault. Nolan course corrected too far in the other direction those movies are a bore The Dark Knight is a great movie but the other two are not great Batman movies in my opinion. Begins and Rises or "Begins again" as I like to call it, have not aged well, if Batman and Robin hadn't been so bad I don't think Begins would have been as well received. The Batman is interesting great performances, some pacing issues, and as a Noir crime drama it absolutely works. But as a Batman movie it just feels like more of what if super heroes were in the real world. I want to see the balance of grounded story and characters with fantastical elements it's not impossible and it is what I hope the Mainline DCU can deliver. I felt like they did that very well with creature Commandos it's fantastical but the character driven parts of the story felt grounded and real for their characters. I had no issues not relating to any of the characters emotionally because the world has fantastical elements. I know it's hard to give people more credit than that but we should at least try.

Not sure if "soon to be alienated" fans are aware but a huge plot point in the last movie is his best friend and his girlfriend are going to college and I'm not sure how great geography is taught anymore but MIT is in a completely different state and city, there are in universe story reasons for them to not be there for one movie while Peter has to figure out who he is without them for awhile. Did whoever wrote this even pay attention to the last movie, why would that alienate Marvel fans they pay way too much attention. Your grandma might be confused, "what happened to his friend and that nice girl" but considering what a big plot point MIT was I don't think it's going to bother anyone. It makes sense.

The Flash has always been one of my favorite characters, but here's the thing hopefully we are done with Barry stories. Wally is the Flash and was the Flash for a significant generation of fans. The bring Barry back and make him the main Flash in comics, TV, and movies was fun for awhile, til it wasn't (especially on TV). But it's time to go back to Wally stories, there is a much bigger well of Wally to pull from in adapting Flash stories. Barry basically only has three big events and the new 52 retcon which itself was thankfully reconned in rebirth. With the right story James can bring in Wally without any of the previous baggage. Pretty sure Flash fans have been "fansplaining" Wally to the TV/DCEU Flash newbies for awhile now anyways. I always point those people to the DCAU and post crisis comics. So in conclusion the problem isn't the baggage that comes with the Flash it's the baggage that comes with Barry, just take Barry out of the equation and you're good. The comics did, twice now and both times for the better.

Yes it should and it will. But like we do in the books we will learn about all our characters backstories as Ka wills it. Especially Roland's, new people should get to know Roland as the rest of the tet does which is how it unfolds in the books. People do not need excessive spoon fed development in a story such as this. Like Flannigan has said "just do the books" and I say "thankee sai".
