I've been gaming, actually playing video games in some form for 40 years. I've owned an Xbox since its 1st iteration and been paying for xbl as long as the service has existed. In all that time I have never been more disappointed with MS and the general state of gaming than I am at this moment. With a decade of awful, broken on release games, false starts, day one 100g updates and price hikes for member services, so SO many price hikes, I can honestly say I have never, ever, been LESS excited to hear anything xbox has to say. I've been burned so many times by devs who can't put 2 lines of code together, publishers who can't understand what an unparalleled atrocity, "games as a service" is and xbox blatantly abusing their long time supporters to such an extent that I'm just waiting till my 5 and 7 year old break my final brokebox controller so I loose the last excuse to still own a brokebox. "For my kids to play" has been what I told other gamers when they ask why I even own such a waste of trash and when I do buy a ps5 next month I won't be trading in or selling my xbox towards that purchase, I'll be throwing that thing into a deep hole in someone ELSES yard so no one will ever see my shame in having owned such an awful awful offense against gaming.
