I agree there is better anime in terms of quality, storyline, fight scenes etc, but DB will always be the OG. DB is so popular because back then it was aired on tv all over the world, back when there's no internet, you may ask people from all over the world and the will most likely know who Goku is and his kamehameha. Then let's talk about the video games, the mechandises.

Other anime has far better story or overall quality than DB and is more popular as of currently but OG DB will always be the most recognisable world wide.
