As someone who has 300 hours in the game, I can say that the change is definitely positive. The only thing dragging it down now are the PvP players who are unhappy with the fact that hunting unarmed solo players or small groups has become challenging and they are trying to protest by being as toxic as is humanly possible in the game.

This will however pass, as these people are usually the first ones to get bored and move on to something else. Dune: Awakening has an amazing potential and given how faithfully Funcom supports and updates their previous survival title, I have full confidence in the future of this one.

Steam version runs great. 120fps average in 4K max settings. Try that one if you have at least a mid range PC. It'll probably take a couple months before they optimise it better for consoles.
