I just hated everything past timeskip. From plot buildup, to character design and world building, it never had the same oomph as it did with Water 7, Thriller Bark, Sabaody, Impel, Marineford.

Places that were so hyped up like Fishman Island and Elbaf and even Wano fell short with some of its culture filler. It’s just another island with bizarre things that never really play a part in the story anymore. Its just there. Pre-timeskip each island had its own strong presence that we never forget about.

By definition, a bloodline trait is inherited. Being given beast powers, taking random eyeballs and placing them on your ass, and acquiring any other power ups by outside means does not make it a kekkei genkai for YOU as it might have been for the original holder.
