I actually think the core difference lies in the fact that marvel has a vast and extensive pool of characters with already complete lore and character designs, the only thing that needs to be done IS the balancing and abilities so Id like to posit a counter prediction that the balancing will be largely similar if not better. Again this isn't me saying rivals is better even though I personally prefer it, but every hero overwatch makes has to have all new lore, all new designs, all new abilities, all new balancing, rivals cuts out half of that because of its IP.
