Oblivion is going to be what it is. An icon. I played the original, and will play the remastered. You can't compare the 2 because 99% of players played the remastered, and moved on. Like me will dabble back in it when certain mods hit. Ypur article is irrelevant for comparison since your comparing a remastered decade old game to a new adaption.
