This one the one got me into FF, I think this was a great game. Cecil was awesome and growing up thought Kain was so cooled and was sad when he had turned on Cecil. Some times I debate which FF I loved more FF 2 or 3 (NA).

FF6 maybe the best imo in the entire series. Funny thing about that and leaders i think a few characters had the fortitude to lead in a vertical capacity. Edgar as you said a good King already, leader material. Cyan a capable general and leader on battlefield, older and wider than most the team. I think Sabin could step up if push came to shove. Locke is such a intelligent guy who showed growth and big heart has several leadership qualities.
