For the most part ever area has similar enemies, so you can change your load outs on area by area basis. There is also a lot of lumina points in the game, I just started act two and my main party of 3 has about 50 lumina points each allowing me to equip 75 percent of every lumina I've learned or own so far. And I know I'm missing some extra points.
