This is incorrect. The UK price includes 20% sales tax (VAT as it's called here). The US price of course doesn't include sales tax since that's a different rate per state. So, the comparative UK price is actually £560, which is $736 at today's exchange rate.
People have been making this huge mistake since the dawn of time when comparing US/UK retail prices.
