See AllSolo Leveling Has Been Beaten By Japan's New Anime Of The Year
Japanese fans have a bit of a bias over anime. Since Korean mediums tend to paint Japan as a bit of a villain and at best sometimes not even a helpful neutral ally. Simply put in Japan it would be easy to understand a Japanese anime doing better than a Korean one. It's simply national bias and there's nothing wrong with that. But you guys need to finally accept that it happened and stop crying about AotY, and try to come up with something actually worth reading.
A Final Fantasy 9 Remake is Already Sitting on a Powder Keg
1: false: "Most people that played ff9 back in the day never even knew about Ozma"
2: mostly false: "The amount of work that went in to even gaining access to this fight was crazy and had no impact on the main story."
3: mostly agree but not the point: "This is a completely optional fight that if ever remade does not need alteration to the difficulty."
4: true but the words optional superboss is the key point here: "The main story of the game can be completely played out without ever even knowing about this optional boss."
TLDR: arguing an opinion as fact doesnt make it a fact, casual players exist, trophies exist now, and considering Ozmas original difficulty, that would essentially lock the platinum trophy behind a nigh impossible task for the less obsessive players.
