Between the first Spider-Man and Spider-Man 2, there were five whole years without any DLC content - there was 3 DLCs for Spiderman 1, which came out staggered a few weeks/months after launch. I think the insomniacs hack has caused them to reconsider/ take additional time whilst they recovered.
