It is kind of interesting that those are the only buttons on the controller they seem to refuse to talk about. Even the official site doesn't even mention them beyond the fact that it apparently comes with swappable versions? The fact that they can be configured makes it more likely they were upgraded but it's still very strange to not mention any kind of enhancement at all when practically every single other button has been upgraded to much fanfare.

I too am concerned about this as I actually have this problem more than stick drift. I have at least 4 bad controllers and 3 of them have busted shoulder buttons.

There will be no change. This is the new normal. Games and products in general are moving towards a lease model because companies want a perpetual revenue stream. You will own nothing and you will have rent or subscribe to everything.

I saw this coming and that's why I didn't order any physical editions. Would have gladly bought the expensive collectors edition if it meant actually owning the game but a Steelbook with a worthless disc inside is just stupid. I'll play it on game pass and then wait for the inevitable torrent since that's the only way to actually own anything these days.
