I think you missed some themes in Faith. It's not just about the miscounted/malevolent faith shown by the Satanic cultists, but it is a testament to how a pure unadulterated faith can give one the strength to overcome. I do agree that faith can cause devastation when used as an evil weapon, but I also think the message is that good faith is a perfect weapon against evil and everything that has faith in it. (The title of my highschool senior thesis was "Justice, Judgement, and Death" and I have spent a long time thinking about whether violence can be justified, and I came to the conclusion that only one with a pure faith in good and hatred of evil can be justified to destroy something which is evil (to the point it could be mistaken for a demo))
