Im sorry to say that gap is no more than waste of money time and work. Why well we all know how the creator did in the end of Naruto and made Hinata main love after years of struggle for him. We got 1 with Hinata fillers in the end and booom ge love her and booom sakura get sauske. This is what made boruto so bad. And now another filler with try to love these characters with more fillers and we know outcome is not worth watching or read.
