The maps in the base game suck... It annoys me how hard they catered to steal CoD players. It's a goog game, but it's not really battlefield... Let's hope we get some bigger battlefield maps in the future and maybe they bring back closed weapons... 🙁🤷

Menus didn't rotate on my client, that's for sure. I didn't know there was a closed option until after the beta was over, and I played the entire weekend...

It seems obvious to me, that they are pushing this so hard because CoD has open weapons and they got good hype for Battlefield 6 so they want to steal some playerbase from Cod. To do this they need open weapons cuz that's what CoD players are used to... Too bad they are alienating the real fanbase of the game and destroying its identity. It's the exact same failure 2042 did (amongst many other).

I wil not buy this game unless original closed weapons mode is the first and default option in the menu... By all means go with both modes, but make closed weapons default in the menus. NOT like they did in the beta.

How the devs are unable to see how important this is, is beyond me, this is core battlefield identity...

Ryan I don't want to buy them. Was just stating an example of how much you could actually get for the price of one year with game pass... I'd rather buy 20 indie games than 4 AAA...

BIG mistake to have open weapons... This is part of the Battlefield soul... We'll see how this goes when we get full medic squads with sniper rifles on rooftops/hillsides that can revive each other... I understand they want to steal CoD players and open weapons makes transition easier. But they will alienate the real Battlefield fans with this cluster fuck of a decision....
