Helldivers 2’s Latest Warbond Booster is a Must-Have
It is actually fairly useful at times, which came as quite a shock to me. They will stay on the battlefield as long as they have ammo left in the turret indefinitely, meaning, theoretically you can pile these things up at a choke point and they'll provide useful area denial. Of course that never happens because something usually makes contact with it, but still.
I would absolutely LOVE it if they were applied to every pod called down. They run out of ammo fairly fast, and are only capable of clearing chaff due to being light pen. So I don't think, in a game where enemies infinitely spawn, that this concept would be OP.
Edit: I find myself bringing this booster when running solo super helldive Illuminate missions. It smokes Voteless and Watchers, and does a decent job dropping both Overseer variants. It's especially useful on "raise the flag" mission types where it compliments the other turrets (as noted in the body of this article), but it's particularly beneficial while also running Guard Dog. With MG turret, Gatlin turret, MG-43, and Guard Dog (lib penetrator), this booster actually f***s.
