Adelbert steiner is a weak knight? No one says this except people who didn't play the game....

The guy has access to 2 of the most powerful moves in game (Shock and Climmhazzard) not mentioning the high HP and strength with access to (Counter) which could help him attack twice dealing a massive damage (If MP Attack is equipped as well) which make the whole Sword Magic command totally unnecessary

Finally a real FF fan, since the remake all the credit goes to it indeed... VIII with Squall,Laguna and Rinoa all got overshadowed by VII characters even though the gameplay of 8 was a bit rough but the story was awesome, then IX came to prove the awesomeness of Squaresoft

Mine was pokemon below and later my sister got pokemon yellow, i took charmander as my starter and ot was the beginning of Fire type love through my pokemon journey since then, luckily i had the link cable as i wanted all 3 starters which yellow afford (lucky me)

Offensive chart should clarify that Water and Dragon moves are separate cause there is no Dual type moves Thus Water/Dragon still can be considered as 0.5 against grass and water

Kashi and Oimo could be playing parts in the events as they previously been part of the giants crew.

But as you mentioned Loki and Haj would be more logical as Hajrudin didn't have that impact in the story as hyped, and Loki is the newest character in those mentioned.

5 out of new 27 is much higher rate than the OG 40 ish megas, Blastoise didn't receive the Steel type, while a few ones received new types like Sceptile.

So i don't see a disappointment at all.

List for (most beloved) without Squall, Zidane or Auron is a Not a List for (most) beloved.

Honorary mentions: Aranea, Kain, Cid highwind, Rinoa, Balthier, Ramza (if spin-off counts) and so on a lot of names that are much more beloved than many in the list as (most) supposed to be based on bigger fanbase.
