Death Stranding
I find it hard to describe this game in a way that makes it sound interesting. After all it is a post apocalyptic postman game The universe and story are terrific and while a good story doesn't make a game great, something about this game makes a mundane concept a true pleasure to play. I loved playing it.

I'm scratching my head as to why anyone would think the Bloodborne has good writing. It doesn't tell the story you have to read it from items etc. Good writing should involve story telling within the gameplay. (And before anyone says anything, I have completed Bloodborne, including all the optional bosses, I even ate the umbilical cord, so I do get the game.) The story telling is the worst, that's why you have to do homework to understand it.
