I Wasn't a Fan at First, but PvP Is Vital to Arc Raiders
This author seems to think that there is nothing that can be improved, and for that, I rate this article a 1/10.
There are levels to pvp, there are ways to tune map loot spawns, quantities of enemies, scan and aggro range that will offer the tension the author did mention. The initial few days, the game was immaculate, while there was a possibility of attack, most players wanted to team up against ARC, or extract together. I can envision a game mode with lower rarity or restricted loot items that tuned up the AI aggro range, and turned off damage from players to other players.
With future expansions and boss releases, the thought of having to come in with a hullcracker, and 35 Wolfpacks (each) as a trio to start your boss run just to get Rat camped in a extract by another group of 3 that have pre-trapped the entire area and you never saw any sign of feels a bit shit. There is a place for PVE, anyone who says otherwise has a lack of imagination and creativity.
