These Are the Steam Deck Sales Compared to PlayStation Vita
I don't know how many of you younger guys know much of anything about handheld gaming before the PSP.... I started with the 5lb Grey Brick Classic Gameboy, then GameboyColor... I was even blessed to have been in a well off family at the time and was able to get Sega's First handheld called the GameGear, and at the time it was the absolute first portable gaming solution with a Backlit screen!!! But as of now, I'm the proud owner of an ROG Ally X 2tb Z1 Extreme Edition. And even though Steam is my #1 Gaming platform that I use on my gaming desktop and the Ally X, the Steam Deck just doesn't have the capabilities that these newer models are coming out with... For instance the Ally X has a respective 24gb of LPDDR5X 7500mhz ram, and the Msi Claw that just hit market has like 32GB but only running at like 6400mhz. But the availability for some older games isn't great, The AI is very intertwined in that Intel chip... But as for people not knowing about these types of units and the niche Market responses are legitimate in my opinion, but I believe that's what the whole idea behind these new handheld are... Trying to get people to stop being afraid to jump into pc gaming by making it more accessible and versatile... Windows is way more sketch then SteamOs, Android, or AppleOs... Plug and play doesn't exist at a par $3000 range, it's always a learning curve with Windows...
