Since video games are highly popular in other countries where gun violence is not increasing, I think we can easily dismiss these concerns. What's more, since something like 70-80% of people play video games, you're going to get a lot of correlation that does not equate to causation. Most people play video games, most people eat lunch, but these are not connected.
