Could there be improvements? Absolutely,Yes! Are people making a bigger deal out of it than it is? Yes! I'm a fan of TBATE. I recently found it and started reading. I'm on chapter 184 and love every bit. Watched the first episode and yes I see where other fans are coming from. The animation did feel half hearted and definitely deserves better. Hopefully you guys don't get to butt hurt and quit. Take what you've read and heard and improve it.

I feel like this list leans to heavily on VR gaming anime. Obviously the characters they play level up, it's a game. So I'm a Spider, So What levels up. She doesn't start OP and literally fights, eats and narrowly escapes death at every moment. Easily better than most of this list. Reincarnated as sword was awesome. Good to see it on the list even if you put it last😏
