The new UI is absolutely awful, I'm not sure Crytek could have done a worse job if they actually tried, but the game update itself is phenomenal. The game looks stunning now, the gunplay is fun again, the new boss is harrowing and the fact that sound now moves at the speed of sound (meaning you can be shot before you hear the gunshot from far enough away) is very cool.
One minor point though: Hunt is not a "battle royale" game, it's an extraction shooter, the whole point of the game is to get a bounty off the boss and extract it whilst fighting other hunters.
