I like how TheBestWarGames was so sure a few months ago that One Piece taking the #1 most sold manga would be unlikely.:) Also the decreasing sales are not because of fatigue but because of the constantily increasing number of people who read digital copies which are not counted by Oricon. But no matter how hight the actual sales are, the mere fact that a manga that has been going on for almost 30 years now is still able to top the most sales chart is an incredible feat that probably will never be achieved by any other manga until the end of human history!

Well, Demon Slayer only sold this well because it had the luck to get popular right when the biggest quarantine covid year happened. Without the pandemic Demon Slayer would never have achieved such numbers.
