Difficulty really seems unbalanced in this game. Either that, or my definition of "easy" is very different from that of Gearbox. At least for single player, IMO, the game is punishingly difficult on any setting. Honestly, I have played on both easy and hard, and can tell very little difference between them. I have played and finished all the previous games, and this game seems much more difficult on "easy" than any of the previous games on default difficulty.

I agree. I am glad to hear someone else feels the game is punishingly difficult, even on "easy" mode. Plus some gameplay decisions, like not being able to upgrade SDU slots with money, just frustrated the player without adding anything to the game.

Mass Effect?? ME3 was the most infuriating, disappointing game I have ever played. It ruined the entire Trilogy. Basically, the endings made it so that the universe would have been better off if Shepard had done nothing.
