Best Horror Games That Don't Hold Your Hand, Ranked

In Sound Mind deserves a sequel.

In fact, it deserves a whole cinematic universe! I want comics, movies, shows, plays, novels! If I were rich, I'd be straight on the phone to the amazing folks at We Create Stuff to ask for their help and permission with it all.

Of course, this is all a pipedream. But a girl can wish! 😅

8 Horror Games With The Best Writing, Ranked

In Sound Mind is my personal favourite. And no offence to the ones listed, but it blows them all out of the water in my opinion.

Beautiful characters, a stellar soundtrack with meaning, heartfelt sprinklings of humour, and writing so good it made me rank it above Red Dead Redemption 2 in my own personal list. And I LOVE RDR2.

Cannot possibly recommend it enough. Made me cry numerous times.

5 Best Urban Horror Games, Ranked

Personally I think In Sound Mind is extremely underrated and I honestly think it should've won 2021 GOTY.

It's emotionally intelligent, witty, empathetic, extremely well written and sometimes quite self-aware. It's made me laugh, cry and groove out thanks to The Living Tombstone's incredible work on the soundtrack (Another reason I am thoroughly shocked by how underground ISM is considering how culturally significant TLTS has been on the Internet thanks to their FNAF fan songs especially).

And did I mention you can pet the talking cat?
