Pokemon Legends: Z-A Metacritic Score is Higher Than Digimon

The games under the "Story" series have a dual rock-paper-scissor system with System A based on elemental type advantages like Pokémon and System B based on their attributes, a secondary typing different from Pokémon that uses a secondary element, which are either Data, Vaccine, or Virus (Data➡Vaccine➡Virus➡Data ➡=Beats) that gives a bonus on attack so a Digimon using Water attack has a damage percentage of 150% against Fire/Data but against Fire/Virus is 300%. In "World" series it uses the V-Pet system and battles are semi-automatic where you can give commands but will only obey depending certain stats (excluding "Digimon World Championship" on the DS which is fully automatic). They both have a branching evolution system that is also different, in "Story" Digimon evolve based on certain conditions like stats or held items sometimes both, you can also reverse evolution while keeping certain stat values since Digimon don't die. In "World, there's no evolution reversion, the Digimon die, and evolution conditions like the system from the V-Pet.

As a fan of both franchises, Digimon has two game series: Digimon Story (the first game in the series released in Japan was the Nintendo DS game "Digimon Story" in 2006, followed by the twin games "Digimon Story: Moonlight" and "Digimon Story: Sunburst" in 2008, which were localized under "Digimon World DS," "Digimon World: Dusk," and "Digimon World: Dawn" because of name recognition with Cyber Sleuth being the first game to use "Digimon Story") and Digimon World (which included "Digimon World," "Digimon World 2" [it's use of turn-based battles inspired the "Story"], "Digimon World 3" all three only on PlayStation 1, after about 12 years later with "Digimon World: Re:Digitized" on PS Vita, the enhanced port "Digimon World: Re:Digitized - De:Coded" on the 3DS, and then "Digimon World: -next 0rder-" ["Digimon World 4" isn't included because it's a spin-off with original title being" Digimon World X" in Japan]) with different RPG mechanics.
