What a MEAN man. Dunno why his supporters keep praising his actions, he knows full well the fandom is divided and did that to stick the knife in even more.

They announced it a bit too soon imo if they are looking at wanting to pass >160M this year or next, as sales were slowing already, but now with the announcement, sales will crash, only a price reduction will boost sales again. I think they feared the leaks spoiling the reveal more than the "best selling games console ever" tag, which I think will prob crawl past it in 2 - 3 years with a price drop. I could be wrong but yeah they should have held off another couple of quarters at least before revealing it.

Because they announced the Switch 2 around 6 - 9 months too soon! Probably because of all the leeks, but now those that still haven't bought a Switch will be looking at the Switch 2 now, imo the only way to get past 160M quicker or at all now is reduce the price asap and that still might get some stragglers that don't want to wait for the Switch 2 and those who like a bargain as well that have been holding off for a price drop.

There's still a gd chance it will get past 160M, but with a ~+/-5M drop the last few years, it will probably take ~3 years to overtake 160M now.

The Live action movies for me I could rewatch anytime are:

1. Batman Returns

2. BVS

3. ZSJL

4. Batman '89

5. The Dark Knight

6. Batman Begins

7. The Dark Knight Rises

The rest meh. Batman '66 I find unwatchable now, unlike when I was a kid, thought it was "groovy" lol. Batman Forever is ok, but hearing Schumacher has a more "gritty" version has me intrigued, same for Ayers cut of Suicide Squad, WBD should just give the fans what they want. Batman & Robin was a terrible Batman movie, far too silly for me, especially during the 90s and especially after how gd Batman & Batman returns were, Forever was an unnecessary change but did way better than the cheesy borefest Batman & Robin.

WBD need to start listening to their long term fans better, not the flip floppers, less read, silly fans & shill critics who think every CB movie should be "silly fun", because they don't understand certain comics/graphic novels that certain movies are taking things from them!

MOS/BVS etc are not comic accurate? Go read Superman Earth One, Superman Birthright, Superman Secret Origin, The Dark Knight Returns, The Death/Return of Superman story arc and other comics that will be in there that I've missed or haven't read!

So yeah create a DC Universe and STICK to the serious mature dark gritty mysterious and epic Universe, that should have been ledt alone to grow, adding some bright, more hopeful elements when necessary like Supermans arc from Raw and unknown in MOS through Dark, Evil through JL2, to Bright hopeful JL3 and onwards, LEAVE the Universe to GROW OVER TIME!

Now we have had lots of silly DC movies and it looks set to continue in the DCU appealing to everyone BUT adults.
