I also always get the amulet, but group approval is not really a reason, most of the time the people I want to be with me are already at max at the end of act 1 or so and it never seems to drop far if you do something bad.

Huh, Overwatch is at least equally toxic, that's not even an argument about the game, it's online people being how they always been in competitive games.

OW is actually also too different to even compare really, most people stay or go back to overwatch for the same reason they stick at bad jobs, comfort and benefits they got at the old place already, like skins and titles and no need to learn new mechanics.

They are not "stuck" in bronze, they just don't play ranked. Even the worst players I ever seen get to bronze 2 and higher. It's just that simple: the statistics show only how many people don't touch ranked at all.
