All this will do is force developers to not admit when AI is used. AI is a tool like ANY other tool. Blue Prince used AI assets as well, and can be proven by simply loading up the game, and loading up Unity marketplace. Every game in 2024-2025 is using AI in some capacity. Whether that's to get the creative juices flowing, get a storyline started, creating placeholder assets, or creating final game assets. IGA needs to understand what they've just done. All developers will lie about AI usage from here forth. Especially indie teams where they already only have small teams. All that matters is that the game is good and is made by an independent studio. That should be IGAs only focus.

To those saying AI shouldn't be used at all, go ahead, try to make a game with AI. You'll quickly see you still need to KNOW HOW TO MAKE A GAME, LOL.
