Crazy thing is even when webtoon was really underrated and rarely read. Solo leveling on its own still made like 34M+ manhwa copies sale, online and offline and after the anime, just 1 season sold 5M+ copies and in 2025, they have sold over 1M+ copies.

So a countryside underrated work already got 40M+ copies sold with just 2 season and demon slayer be flexing their 220M copies sale with 4 seasons and movies. Solo leveling will also get like 2 more seasons and a movie. Lets see what happens by then

Remove ufotable animation from demon slayer and the next time it will make it in the list of "top 10 most underrated anime of all time" but remove toei high level animation from one piece, it will still be one piece. The difference is clear

The beginning after the end is honestly the best written isekai story even tho its from a korean writer, but the animation was so bad that once predicted to be a series on the level of solo leveling, is getting more hate than rent a girlfriend:(

And yeah don't compare rezero or lotm with tbate, is still the best isekai story, no competition at all😌

I'm most excited for 'The beginning after the end'. This manhwa's been considered the best isekai story of all time and I totally agree with that. If it's executed properly then it might be a huge opponent for solo leveling's supremacy since the beginning after the end's US sales were much higher then solo leveling.

The fact that a japanese genre, isekai's greatest story wasn't even from japan, is funny to me.

Solo Leveling is a goat done leveling litrpg series.

There was also a manhwa called farming in dungeon tower or something. I don't correctly remember it coz it stopped publishing for some unknown reason even though it was getting tons of good reviews. The mc there, was creating a kind of nation in a dungeon's top floor. He is a great farmer and has many allies, slowly helping him to build something like a nation and since he is the supreme and expert there, he is the leader there.

Also another one is just the best for this article..... The greatest estate developer. Mc is a total freak. A manipulative man who reigns supreme over everyone but tries to keep it low but still in depth of people's heart, he is their leader and king. He slowly turn his family into ruling a nation. Though in manhwa, he just became a count but in novel, he's controlling a nation of his own.

Personally, if you like awesome kingdom building with a kinda broken-manipulative-freakass mc than the greatest estate developer is the greatest option for you. I mean mc of that manhwa isn't that much powerful but he has manipulated a guy, making him believe that mc is really great and that guy is the strongest in the whole series. So in a way, you can say mc is the strongest because he has many strong allies and the strongest swordsman as his friend.

The dungeon farming or whatever is a slice of life slow burning fantasy with not the overused litrpg story base. The story is a bit boring for 1-5 chapters but slowly u'll understand what's the main plot of the series and you'll be attracted to it.

The beginning after the end is not a kingdom building series but a kingdom saving series. Mc was a king in his previous and than got isekai'd and becomes a really awesome character with its continuos character development.
