I personally would be okay if they retconn anything outside the original three movies. This includes retconning the last two films and the Young Indy chronicles. MachineGames is clearly influenced only by the original three films to try to recapture that magic! They shouldn’t be bound by any other content so they can do their own interpretation full steam! Look at the Spider-Man games. They have their own version of the venom story and miles morales and its wonderful!
